And unforunately, I can’t look or really read another regency romance yet without thinking of Heyer only and being absolutely unfair to all those other authors! Black Sheep Regency Romances.

Arabella Tallant is the eldest daughter of a Yorkshire clergyman. Because there’s nothing more wonderful than the final moment when the hero kisses the heroine, and finally declaring their love!
Then you’ll be hooked! Nothing passes under her radar, from a horse being cruelly whipped by a cart driver to stray dogs and abused chimney boys. Arabella was my second Heyer novel.
Perhaps the best arabells, though, is Beaumaris’s grandmother. There aren’t hands, they’re “graceful hands”. It think I enjoyed it more the second time around.

Arabella, also referred to as the “little Arqbella, draws our swoon-worthy hero into the rescue of more than one unfortunate creature and this is exactly what makes her so engaging. Arabella Tallant arrives in London, fresh from a country vicarage and is shocked by the selfishness of the rich and fashionable.
Fashionable, maybe of the thirties, wearing a funky WW hat with a feather and fur coat, almost post-flapper. When Harlequin reissued the first batch two years ago, I was thrilled.
Then came the event toward the end. Seriously, what are we going to DO? He had to mentally kept reminding himself that she was a innocent virgin who was untouched by any man, save for his own heart and kiss as he had allowed her to sit upon his lap and press arabrlla against him.
This sets in motion her very eventful and successful Season in Town.
Arabella — All About Romance
Enigmatic and elegant, enamoured with the impeccable signature GH hero witty dialogues, Mr Beaumaris offers us a hero who though a pink of the ton and an arbiter of fashion and leader of Society, can love and care for a parson’s family as his own just for the sake of the girl he loves. To amuse himself, Mr Beaumaris decides to make Arabella the rage of the town by flirting with her and driving her out in his carriage.
She feel honor-bound to refuse all offers of marriage, even Mr. In the end, having fallen for both protagonists, I was more than satisfied by the end. So many romances hinge on this odd little quirk of human nature. Robert only snorted indigently as he laid a hand in between her legs.
